Description

This cake is made of moist poppyseed butter cake flavoured with lemon zest and sandwiched with lemon buttercream with a pool of our homemade lemon curd in the middle.

We decorate the cake with homemade candied lemon and a speckle of lemon zest for a refreshing taste of lemon fruit.

This cake promises a light, tangy and refreshing flavour. The cake is recommended for those who crave the citrus note but not too sour, and less sweet.

It is also a recommended choice if you are looking for a cake suitable for the elderly.

This cake is best enjoyed with a cup of hot tea (we enjoyed it with Chamomile tea).

Kindly allow the cake to rest at slight room temperature to bring out the best flavour of the cake before consumption.
